Specialist Training Course List Coming Soon
We have been busy behind the scenes creating a course list for clinicians who are looking to broaden their practice, but also improve the way they work. One course will be based around 'Human Factors' -
“Enhancing clinical performance through an understanding of the effects of teamwork, tasks, equipment, workspace, culture and organisation on human behaviour and abilities and application of that knowledge in clinical settings”.
The principles and practices of Human Factors focus on optimising human performance through better understanding the behaviour of individuals, their interactions with each other and with their environment. By acknowledging human limitations, Human Factors offers ways to minimise and mitigate human frailties, so reducing medical error and its consequences.
